41 — Course description

1.1 Introduction

Welcome to the "CPR/AED – General public (4h)" training. In our society, being able to respond effectively in an emergency is a vital skill for every individual. This four-hour session is designed to provide in-depth training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), adapted specifically to the needs of the general public.

Whether you are a parent, a professional, or simply a citizen concerned about the safety of those around you, this training gives you the skills needed to act quickly and effectively in case of cardiac arrest or respiratory failure. It is particularly recommended for those who frequently interact with at-risk groups, such as children or seniors.

81.2 Course objectives

Master interventions in cases of cardiorespiratory arrest and airway obstruction: recognize and respond quickly to cardiovascular emergencies in adults, children and infants — CPR and AED.

Manage choking in adults, children and infants: airway clearance for all populations, conscious or unconscious.

91.3 Teaching approach & 1.4 Learning activities & 1.5 Supervision

The training is based on active, inductive learning, the integration of theory and practice (emergency scenario simulations), interactive modules, demonstration videos, and continuous assessment. For any question, our team answers by email at [email protected] and via the built-in chat (24/7), within 48 business hours.
